The cottage was a perfect base for our exploration of the area. The living and bedroom areas were cleverly designed to maximize space and the beds and sofa were super comfy. The kitchen, though small, had everything we needed and the modern bathroom with a fantastic shower was spotlessly clean. Private parking was a bonus, although we managed to squeeze only one car into the yard. The location in Alnwick was fantastic with plenty of great walks nearby and a vibrant selection of unique shops.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing for our adventurous getaway! The cozy yet well-designed living and bedroom areas made us feel right at home, and boy, those beds and sofa were super comfy! The compact kitchen surprised us with its AMAZING range of equipment, and the clean, modern bathroom with its jaw-dropping shower was the icing on the cake. The cherry on top was the convenience of private parking and the alternative option of on-street parking. The nearby town had a plethora of interesting independent shops, and the fantastic walking trails had us exploring for hours. Plus, the free wi-fi and the fact that pets are allowed but no smoking on site were delightful bonuses!

The kitchen did feel a bit cramped when there was more than one person trying to cook. there were a few areas that could have used a bit more attention during the cleaning process.
